Your privacy is fundamental to Veewy. This document describes how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data, in compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679).
1. Who we are
Veewy is an AI-assisted fashion platform operated through a mobile app and the institutional site veewy.app. Our Data Protection Officer can be reached at contato@veewy.app.
2. Data we collect
We collect: (a) account data: name, email, language, region, year of birth; (b) payment data: processed directly by Stripe — we do not store card numbers on our servers; (c) usage data: catalogued items, generated outfits, favorites, style preferences, climate of the city you provide; (d) images: photos of clothing you upload to catalogue your digital closet; (e) technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, app identifiers.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to: deliver the service (catalogue clothes, generate outfits, recommend pieces); process your subscription; contact you about the service; improve the experience; comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data. We do not use your photos to train third-party AI models.
4. Legal bases
In Brazil (LGPD): performance of contract, consent, legitimate interests and compliance with legal obligations. In the EU (GDPR): performance of contract (art. 6(1)(b)), consent (art. 6(1)(a)) and legitimate interests (art. 6(1)(f)).
5. Sharing and subprocessors
To run the service we share strictly necessary data with subprocessors: Supabase (database and infrastructure — São Paulo, Brazil), OpenAI (image analysis and text generation — USA), Replicate (AI image generation — USA), Stripe (payments — USA, Ireland), Resend (transactional email — USA), Vercel (site hosting — USA/Global). Each subprocessor processes your data under contractual agreements that ensure an adequate level of protection.
6. International data transfers
Some subprocessors are based outside Brazil and the European Union. Transfers rely on standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant authority, adequacy decisions, or your explicit consent where applicable. You may request a copy of the safeguards we've adopted at contato@veewy.app.
7. Retention
We retain your data for the duration of the contractual relationship and any applicable legal periods (up to 5 years for tax and accounting purposes under Brazilian law). After cancellation, your personal data is anonymized or deleted within 90 days, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
8. Your rights
You have the right to: confirm processing; access your data; correct incomplete or outdated data; anonymize, block or delete unnecessary or non-compliant data; data portability; information about sharing; revoke consent; object to processing; not be subject to solely automated decisions affecting your interests (with the right to human review). To exercise any right, write to contato@veewy.app — we respond within 15 days.
9. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, Row Level Security, incident monitoring and team training. If an incident creates a relevant risk to you, we will notify the competent authority and you directly, as required by law.
10. Children
Veewy is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your session and optional analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can manage preferences in the banner shown on first visit.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always at veewy.app/privacy. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or in-app notification.
